new rate plan launched july 1 - introduCing simple plan
The co-op launched a new rate plan July 1, called Simple Plan, which provides a lower entry free to join the co-op. New members can now join for $99, and pay $9 an hour to drive, with 150 free kilometres per day. The co-op's traditional rate plan, charging per hour and per kilometre to drive, is now called the Classic Plan, and is still availalbe for new members as well.

Hamilton carshare is coming to mcmaster campus!
Do you work or study at McMaster, or live in the Westdale neighbourhood? Hamilton CarShare is working on recruiting members to support a carshare vehicle to be located at McMaster University. Sign up online with the promo code "McMaster" -- the sooner you sign up, the sooner there will be a car close to you! Summer special on mini cooper extended indefinitely
The premium rate for the Mini Cooper, now stationed in Downtown Kitchener, will be waived indefinitely.

Hamilton CarShare provides self-serve access to a fleet of 3 vehicles (and growing) located in Downtown/West Hamilton.
Joining the co-operative is a great alternative to owning your own vehicle, or can allow you to downsize the number of vehicles in your household. Vehicle reservations can be made for as little as 30 minutes or as long as needed. The vehicles are clean and well-maintained, and the co-operative covers the cost of gas and vehicle maintenance - it's that simple!

carshare researching feasibility of rural carsharing
Grand River CarShare is researching the feasibility of carsharing in Woolwich Township (Elmira and St Jacobs). Click here to complete our 10-question online survey. Thanks to those who were able to attend our focus group meeting on Wednesday March 24th at the Elmira Branch Library.
Waterloo Region joins CarShare as Corporate Member
The Regional Municipality of Waterloo has joined a growing list of Corporate Members. This will enable employees to shift their commutes away from an expensive drive to work, using affordable and green modes (transit, cycling, carpooling) instead. When they have to drive for work during their day, the CarShare vehicles are there to meet their needs.
