You
pay only when you drive!
Our
rates let you reserve for as little as a half-hour or as long as you
need! And, regardless of the length of your reservation our billing
system always defaults to the cheaper rate calculation. These rates apply across our entire fleet in Waterloo Region and Hamilton. Reservations can be made on all vehicles regardless of which service area our members call home.

Will you be using a vehicle a few times a week for errands? The Classic Plan is likely for you. Will you only use a vehicle when you occasionally need a second car, maybe once a month? The Simple Plan is likely for you. If your driving needs change, you can switch between plans at any time.
The rates listed above are weekday rates, and vary slightly on the weekend. For billing purposes, the weekend is considered to be from 5pm Friday to 11pm Sunday. Gas and maintenance are included in all rate plans. Please note a credit card is required for the Simple Plan.

Billing - Pay-As-You-Drive
Your CarShare trips will be billed as you drive, either automatically to your credit card, or deducted from a pre-paid balace on your account. You will still receive a monthly invoice with your insurance fee (Classic Plan only), and any credits, surcharges and adjustments will be shown on your invoice as well.
Gasoline Surcharge
Gasoline Surcharge for reservations in July/10 = NIL
Please note : The Co-op's Gasoline Surcharge Policy is in effect as of June 1, 2008. Please see the Membership Information Booklet for a detailed explanation of the policy.
Insurance Coverage
As a member of the Co-op you are added to the Co-op's insurance policy and so have
the benefit of ongoing automobile insurance coverage -- this is a great plus for those considering
personal vehicle ownership sometime in the future.
